Famous former footballer Vladislav Radimov commented on Andrej Movsesyan's appointment at the Spartak club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
On Thursday, the Moscow club announced Movsesyan's appointment as Deputy General Director for the Russian direction in scouting and youth football development. According to Radimov, the person responsible for such a direction should be the sporting director.
He emphasized that Spartak always surprises with unexpected decisions. In Radimov's opinion, there can be many scouts, but there must be a single person making the main decisions.
Therefore, he does not understand Movsesyan's new position and appointment. He suggested that perhaps this decision was made with the future in mind, and after Kahigao leaves, Movsesyan will move to the sporting director position.
Movsesyan's previous work at CSKA club was also discussed. Currently, Spartak is in sixth place in the Premier League standings.
The team led by Dejan Stanković has collected six points fewer than the leader CSKA, that is, with 18 points compared to the rival's 24 points.
