It is known that Kononov was invited to Torpedo by Storozhuk

Oleg Kononov returned to the position of head coach of the Torpedo team after a two-month break. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the first match after his return, the "automakers" defeated the Veles team 3-0 at home. This match was held within the framework of the "Fonbet Russian Cup".

After the match, Kononov answered a question about who invited him back to Torpedo. According to him, the invitation was made by Nikolay Storozhuk.

Nikolay Storozhuk is one of the partners of the Torpedo team. Currently, the Torpedo team has accumulated 10 points after 14 rounds in the second-tier league of Russian football — the PARI League — and is in last place, 18th out of 18 teams in the standings.

The return of coach Kononov is of great importance for the team, and it is hoped that their results will improve.
