Melyohin said he is in a business relationship with Karpin

Russia national team and Rostov club defender Viktor Melyohin spoke to journalists about the work carried out under the leadership of Valeriy Karpin. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, they have a business relationship. Karpin often criticized the players, and sometimes praised them.

Viktor and the coach worked together for almost five years. Melyohin has been playing for Rostov since 2021.

His current contract with the club is valid until the end of June 2027. In the current season of the Russian championship, he has played in ten matches, received two yellow cards, and was sent off once.

The footballer emphasized that he has an effective cooperation with the coach in his career and expressed his intention to continue being useful to the team in the future. As a defender for Rostov, he plays an important role in strengthening the team's defensive line.
