Koul Palmer's injury is more severe than expected

Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer will be out of action for another half a month due to an abdominal injury. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The team's head coach Enzo Maresca announced this. Maresca stated that earlier information about Cole returning to the field in November was incorrect.

Unfortunately, he will need another six weeks to recover. Surgery will not be performed, and the medical team is trying to protect the player as much as possible.

They hope that the six-week period will be sufficient for his health to recover. This season, 23-year-old Palmer has played in four matches and scored two goals.

Chelsea's next match will be against Nottingham Forest on October 18.
