Liverpool head coach Arne Slot responded to the criticism directed at the team's forward Mohamed Salah. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella had said that in the match against Liverpool, the team tried to attack through the left wing because Salah was not helping in defense. Slot, however, emphasized that he does not agree with this opinion.
He said that Salah had several moments in the game where he benefited the team, and if those had been realized, the player would have been spoken about positively as in the previous season. According to the coach, the important aspect is the balance between wing defenders and wingers.
He wants the team's wing defenders to also be active in attack and stressed the need to find the right balance in this regard. These days, Liverpool will host Manchester United on October 19.
This match is eagerly awaited.
