Zakharyan’s Future: New Team or Return to Russia?
Former head coach of the "Krasnodar" club, Igor Shalimov, shared his thoughts on the future of "Real Sociedad" midfielder Arsen Zakharyan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to euro-football.ru, information circulating in the Spanish media suggests that the "Real Sociedad" club does not expect great results from the player and there is a possibility that he will move to another team in the near future.
In his appearance on the "Match TV" channel, Shalimov emphasized that it is still unclear whether Zakharyan will transfer to a new team in Europe or be loaned out. According to him, the player's susceptibility to injuries and insufficient playing time make it difficult for him to secure a spot in the main squad even if he returns to Russia.
It is worth recalling that Arsen Zakharyan joined "Real Sociedad" in mid-2023 on a long-term contract. This season, he has appeared in 19 matches and managed to score one goal.
