Guardiola: Haaland adapted to the tight schedule

"Manchester City" head coach Josep Guardiola gave clear and sharp answers to questions about Erling Haaland's playing load at a press conference. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to him, there is no point in repeatedly discussing this topic because the tight schedule of modern football puts the same pressure on all teams. — Why are we raising this issue again?

Nothing will change, — said the coach. Guardiola cited the "City" match against "Bodø/Glimt" as an example.

In that match, 11 players from the team were unable to participate due to injuries. He also emphasized that this problem is not exclusive to "Manchester City"; other clubs, including "Aston Villa" and "Tottenham," are also facing a tight schedule and many injuries.

The coach noted that the high workload in today's football is natural and said Haaland is a player adapted to such a pace: — Teams are playing many matches. Haaland's physical condition suits this, and he can handle this load, — said Guardiola.

Currently, "Manchester City" is in 2nd place in the English Premier League. The team is 7 points behind the leader "Arsenal."
