Currently, the responsibility to free up a spot may fall on Dominik Livaković, Vladislav Krapivtsov, or Paulo Gazzaniga. According to the latest information, Girona plans to return Livaković to Dinamo Zagreb.

If this happens, it will be possible to include Ter Stegen in the main squad. It is worth noting that the 33-year-old German goalkeeper missed part of this season due to a groin injury.

So far, he has only managed to appear on the field once.
