Lincoln accused Mourinho of disrespect

Former “Fenerbahce” football player Lincoln openly expressed his dissatisfaction with Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by the euro-football.ru website. According to the footballer, Mourinho did not fulfill the promises he made to him.
“He has won many trophies, that cannot be denied. But he showed disrespect towards me.
In life, character is more important than titles,” he commented in an interview with the “Fanatik” publication. According to Lincoln, he spoke with Mourinho before moving to the “Hull City” club on loan.
The coach had promised to call him to the summer training sessions. However, after the loan period ended, when the player tried to contact the coach, Mourinho asked him to communicate with the sporting director and distanced himself.
Additionally, Lincoln emphasized that the situation became even more complicated. While the team was attending a training camp in Portugal, and he was also in Portugal, Mourinho sent him to Istanbul and demanded that he conduct separate training sessions.
The footballer perceived this as unfairness and disrespect. “I tried to help the club in many matches.
I even played in positions that were not comfortable for me. I suffered serious injuries, yet I expected support, but it did not happen.
I have always given my all on the field,” said Lincoln. Currently, Jose Mourinho is working as the head coach of Portugal’s “Benfica” club.
