Lincoln accused Mourinho of disrespect

Former “Fenerbahce” player Lincoln shared his thoughts about the famous Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to Euro-football.ru, the player accused Mourinho of not keeping his promise and showing disrespect. According to Lincoln, before playing on loan at “Hull City,” he spoke with Mourinho, who said he wanted to see him at the training camp in Portugal after the season.

However, after the season ended, although the player waited for the coach’s call, attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. Even when trying to reach out through a translator, Mourinho refused to talk and suggested communicating with the sporting director instead.

The player also said that while the team was in Portugal, he was there as well, but Mourinho forced him to return to Istanbul and train separately. Lincoln emphasized that he was treated unfairly and disrespectfully.

He said he tried to help the team in every way and was even willing to play outside his position. When he suffered a serious injury, he stated that the club did not provide enough support.

“I always gave my all on the field, but I did not gain attention like famous players. Nevertheless, I tried to fulfill my duties,” the player said.

It is currently known that Jose Mourinho is managing the “Benfica” club.
