Sports22:27, 27-01-2026

Under the leadership of coach Diego Simeone, the Atletico team is actively working to strengthen the squad during the winter transfer window. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Spanish club currently plans to add German club Bayern Munich's midfielder Leon Goretzka to their ranks. This was reported by the publication Mundo Deportivo.

Leon Goretzka's current contract with Bayern will expire at the end of the season, in the summer months. Due to the contract expiration, the player could become a free agent.

Although the Munich club has valued the player at 20 million euros, Atletico considers this price too high and continues negotiations. According to information, Leon Goretzka played in 28 official matches in the 2025/2026 season and made one assist.

Atletico is trying to acquire the player as soon as possible to strengthen their squad. Source: euro-football.ru.
