Safonov back in the lineup after injury!

PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov has announced that he is back in the lineup. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He shared photos from training on his Telegram page, stating that he is ready for the games. This was reported by euro-football.ru.

In his post, Safonov wrote: “Back to work again! We are ready for tomorrow’s game.”

He had been unable to play for the team for a while. Last month, he missed games due to an injury sustained in the Intercontinental Cup final against Flamengo.

In that match, Safonov showed a brilliant performance, saving four penalties in the shootout and making a significant contribution to his team’s victory. Now, the PSG team is preparing to host Newcastle on January 28 as part of the Champions League.

The match is scheduled to start at 01:00 Tashkent time.
