Cristiano Ronaldo, in agreement with the coach, is not participating in the matches of the 2nd group stage of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Nevertheless, the “Al-Nasr” team is showing successful results even without their captain. This was reported by the euro-football.ru website.

On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia’s “Al-Nasr” club defeated Tajikistan’s “Istiqlol” club with a large score of 4:0 in their fifth group match. Thus, the team finished the group stage with 5 wins out of 5 matches and advanced to the next stage.

After the match, Cristiano Ronaldo shared the news on his social media pages about “Al-Nasr” finishing first in the group and advancing to the next stage. He added fire and clapping emojis to the post, showing his support for the team’s success.

For reference, 40-year-old Ronaldo is under contract with “Al-Nasr” until mid-2027.
