Uzbekistan futsal team will play against Iran in the quarterfinals

The group stage has concluded, and now the most important phase of the tournament — the playoff matches — will begin. In this stage, the outcome of each game is of great importance.
The final round matches in Group D were full of exciting events. The group leader, the Iranian national team, won against Afghanistan with a score of 5:2, securing first place with 9 points.
During the match, the Iranian players controlled the game and demonstrated their superiority. Azimi opened the scoring in the 13th minute, while Tayebi scored two goals in the 29th and 30th minutes, one of which was from a penalty.
The final result was beautifully shaped by goals from Yusuf and Karimi. The Afghanistan team also continued to fight until the last minutes.
Huseynpur and Safari tried to turn the game around by scoring two goals in the 32nd and 33rd minutes. However, Iran’s experience and game tempo prevailed.
In another group match, Saudi Arabia defeated Malaysia 6:1. Thus, the Saudis took third place with 3 points, while Malaysia finished the group without any points.
In the end, the standings in Group D were as follows: 1. Iran — 9 points 2.
Afghanistan — 6 points 3. Saudi Arabia — 3 points 4.
