Uzbekistani taekwondo athletes started the "Fujairah Open" with 5 medals

The city of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates once again became the focus of sports enthusiasts today. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Yesterday, the prestigious 13th "Fujairah Open-2026" international taekwondo tournament officially began its adult competitions. The first day of this competition was very successful for the Uzbekistan national team.
Our compatriots won 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, starting the tournament successfully with a total of 5 awards. The athletes who won silver medals are Sofiya Khan (53 kg weight category) and Madina Mirabzalova (57 kg weight category).
Additionally, the bronze medals were won by Laylo Zayniddinova (53 kg), Sevinch Hayitova (62 kg), and Iroda Mirtojiyeva (+73 kg). This information was provided by the Uzbekistan Taekwondo WT Association.
The competition is still ongoing and many matches lie ahead. The first day started with high results, which allows us to have great expectations from our athletes in the coming days.
