The Uzbekistan futsal national team lost to Iran

In the quarterfinal, the Uzbekistan national team faced the Iran team. The match was very intense and full of goals.
However, unfortunately, the match ended with a score of 7:4 in favor of Iran. From the first minutes of the match, an interesting and exciting process began.
The Uzbekistan national team opened the scoring first. Ikhtiyor Ropiev successfully converted a penalty in the 1st minute, putting our team ahead.
Soon after, in the 5th minute, Elbek Tolqinov scored another goal, boosting the team's confidence. But the Iran team quickly recovered and scored consecutive goals in the 6th, 9th, and 12th minutes, turning the course of the game in their favor.
The battle between the teams was very fierce throughout the match. For Uzbekistan, goals were scored by Ikhtiyor Ropiev, Elbek Tolqinov, Sunnatilla Jo‘rayev, and Muzaffar Akhadjonov.
Iran, on the other hand, effectively utilized their technical superiority and experience to ultimately secure the victory. The final score of the match was: Iran — Uzbekistan 7:4.
The Iran team will compete in the semifinals against the winner of the Thailand vs Iraq match. For the Uzbekistan national team, the tournament ended at the quarterfinal stage.
However, the fact that our team fought until the end and scored 4 goals, showing character, was somewhat consoling for the fans. In such games, even small mistakes can greatly affect the result.
Futsal is exactly like that — the score can change in an instant. Although the defeat is painful, this match was an important experience for our team.
