Uzbekistani taekwondo athletes won 14 medals in the UAE

The international taekwondo WT competition “Fujayrah Open - 2026” was held in Fujairah city, UAE. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this competition, the Uzbekistan national team participated successfully and won a total of 14 medals. The medal tally includes 2 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze medals.
This result shows that the team is in good preparation condition since the season has just begun. Despite the high level of competition, our athletes were able to demonstrate their skills.
The Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee officially reported about this competition. The gold medal winners are: Najmiddin Qosimkhodjaev in the -74 kg weight category and Yodgor Joraboyev in the -87 kg weight category.
The silver medals were won by Omonjon Otajonov (-58 kg), Mironshoh Muzaffarov (-74 kg), Jasur Jaysunov (-80 kg), Marat Mavlonov (+87 kg), Sofiya Khon (-53 kg), and Madina Mirabzalova (-57 kg). The bronze medals were awarded to Kamron Mansurov (-58 kg), Shamsiddin Qurbonov (-63 kg), Diyor Toxliboyev (-68 kg), Laylo Zayniddinova (-53 kg), Sevinch Khayitova (-62 kg), and Iroda Mirtojiyeva (+73 kg).
The competition results indicate that the team has prepared seriously for the season. The main goal now is to maintain this pace and increase the number of gold medals in upcoming competitions.
