The first place was taken by Argentine Lionel Messi. Following him, Diego Maradona was second, and Pele was recorded in third place.

The fourth place was occupied by Dutchman Johan Cruyff, and the fifth place by Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo. Also, within the top 10 are Alfredo di Stefano, Franz Beckenbauer, Zinedine Zidane, Ferenc Puskás, and Michel Platini.

It was noted that ensuring absolute impartiality when compiling such lists is difficult. Discussions on the Reddit platform sparked heated debates among football fans.

Some expressed dissatisfaction that Pele, a three-time world champion, was placed third. Also, Lev Yashin, recognized as a legend among goalkeepers, took 18th place in the ranking.
