Pochettino: Europa League victory is not enough for Tottenham

Former Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino shared his opinion about the current state and results of the team. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. After the 25th round of the English Premier League, Tottenham is currently in 15th place in the league table.

Last season, the Londoners finished in 17th place, yet they managed to win the Europa League. Mauricio Pochettino acknowledged the Europa League trophy but emphasized that this achievement is not enough for a club like Tottenham.

According to him, such a team should always participate in the Champions League. Additionally, fans expect Tottenham to compete for the championship in both the Premier League and the Champions League.

Currently, the Argentine specialist is working with the US national team. It is worth recalling that Mauricio Pochettino managed Tottenham from 2014 to 2019.
