Marcelo Delgado appointed as sports director of Boca Juniors

One of the major clubs in Argentine football, Boca Juniors, has appointed a new sports director. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Marcelo Delgado will now fulfill this role. He will work closely with the club president Juan Riquelme to strengthen the team.

The club management plans to take swift measures to reinforce the squad. This was reported by euro-football.ru.

Marcelo Delgado gained extensive experience during his football career. Between 1995 and 2002, he played in 18 matches for the Argentina national team.

He also took part in the 1998 World Cup. In 2003, he was among the top scorers in the Copa Libertadores and shared the list of top scorers with Santos forward Ricardo Oliveira.

It is expected that Marcelo Delgado will effectively use his experience in his new position and strive to elevate Boca Juniors to an even higher level.
