PSG head coach Luis Enrique shared his thoughts on the competition among goalkeepers in the team for the number one spot. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. On Sunday, PSG took to the field against Marseille in the next round of the French championship.

In this match, the Paris goal was guarded by Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov. He successfully saved three shots and managed to keep a clean sheet.

As a result, PSG achieved a big 5:0 victory. Meanwhile, another goalkeeper, Luca Chevalier, watched the game from the bench.

Luis Enrique expressed his satisfaction with his goalkeepers. “I have been lucky: I have three high-level goalkeepers.

Each of them is important not only for their individual skills but also from the perspective of team play,” FootMercato quotes him as saying. This season, Matvey Safonov has played in 7 matches, conceded 5 goals, and managed to finish 3 games with a clean sheet.

These statistics confirm how important he currently is for the team.
