Abduqodir Husanov played brilliantly in his first game at Enfield

One of the central matches of the 25th round of the English Premier League (EPL) took place at Anfield stadium. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In it, Manchester City defeated Liverpool 2-1 away, demonstrating their true character. Such games have a significant impact not only on the championship race but also on the overall morale of the team.

Manchester City once again proved their strength in this match. Uzbek footballer Abduqodir Husanov also took to the field in the starting lineup in this game.

This was his first game at Anfield stadium. It is natural that playing for the first time in such an environment is difficult for any footballer.

Especially considering that the opposing side had forwards like Mohamed Salah and Ekitike, it can be assumed that the game was not easy for Husanov. Nevertheless, Abduqodir started the game confidently and was actively involved on the field for 61 minutes.

However, in the second half, after a collision with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, he was substituted as a precaution. In such cases, the player's health comes first, especially when the injury concerns the head area, and no risks can be taken.

After the match, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola spoke warmly about Husanov. He specifically highlighted the player's first game at Anfield and his adaptation process, rating his performance highly.

Guardiola said: “Abduqodir Husanov came from Uzbekistan and spent six months in France. This was his first game at Anfield.

Despite facing players like Salah and Ekitike, he showed a very strong performance. He played excellently.” A coach like Guardiola does not praise just any player, so these words indicate that Husanov has proven himself to the team and the coaching staff.

Most importantly, he showed that he can play without getting overwhelmed on the big stage. This is a very positive quality for a defender.

It is worth noting that Manchester City will play their next game against Fulham. Now the main question is whether Husanov will fully recover from his injury and continue to compete for a spot in the starting lineup in the upcoming match?

If he is healthy, there is no doubt that his successful performance at Anfield has given him great confidence and motivation.
