A match may be held between Russia and Israel

Former USSR national team goalkeeper Aleksandr Uvarov stated that the national teams of Russia and Israel may hold a friendly match in the near future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Currently, Uvarov works as a goalkeepers' coach for the youth team of the "Maccabi" club in Tel Aviv, Israel. This was reported by euro-football.ru.
According to Uvarov, there are no serious obstacles to organizing such a game. He emphasized that by 2026, if the Russian side takes the initiative, we may witness a match between the national teams of Russia and Israel.
He also noted that the relations between the football federations of the two countries are positive. It is known that the Russian national team currently mainly plays only friendly matches due to international sanctions.
Therefore, the opponents for the training camp planned for March have not yet been officially announced. According to Uvarov, the football relations between Russia and Israel create favorable conditions for holding such matches.
