Nepomnyashchiy gave a high rating to Safonov's performance

Famous Russian coach Valeriy Nepomnyashchiy shared his thoughts on PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov's performances in the French championship. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by the euro-football.ru website. The Russian national team goalkeeper played his seventh match this season.

The Parisians this time defeated their fierce rivals Marseille with a score of 5:0. Nepomnyashchiy gave a high rating to Safonov's performance and said: "I always say — he must play.

God willing, it will continue like this. He has already proven himself to everyone with his skill."

For reference, Matvey Safonov transferred from Russia's Krasnodar club to France's Ligue 1 in 2023. The 26-year-old goalkeeper has won international competitions such as the Champions League, FIFA Intercontinental Cup, UEFA Super Cup, as well as the French championship, Cup, and Super Cup with PSG.

These achievements once again confirm that he is a player of a high level.
