A match may be held between Russia and Israel

Former USSR national team goalkeeper Aleksandr Uvarov mentioned that there is a possibility of a friendly match being held between the Russian and Israeli national teams in the near future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Currently, Uvarov works as a goalkeepers' coach for the youth team of the "Maccabi" football club in Tel Aviv, Israel. This was reported by the euro-football.ru website.
According to Uvarov, there are no serious obstacles for such a game. If the Russian side takes the initiative, a match between the Russian and Israeli national teams could be seen by 2026.
He stated that the relations between the football federations of the two countries remain at a good level. At the same time, it is worth noting that currently the Russian national team can only hold friendly matches due to international sanctions.
The opponents for the upcoming training camp in March have not yet been announced.
