A match may be held between Russia and Israel

Former USSR national team goalkeeper Aleksandr Uvarov said that the national teams of Russia and Israel may face each other in a friendly match in the near future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He is currently working with the youth team goalkeepers at the Maccabi football club in Tel Aviv. This was reported by the euro-football.ru website.
According to Uvarov, there are no serious obstacles to organizing such matches. If the Russian side takes the initiative, it is possible to hold this match in 2026.
He also emphasized the positive relations between the football federations of Russia and Israel. It is known that due to international sanctions, the Russian national team is currently only playing friendly matches.
At the same time, it is not yet known which teams will be played against during the training camp planned for March.
