Marcelo Delgado appointed as sports director of Boca Juniors

The famous Argentine football club Boca Juniors has appointed a new sports director. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

From now on, this responsibility will be taken on by Marcelo Delgado. He is planned to work closely with the club president Juan Riquelme.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. There is a need to strengthen the club's squad in a short time.

Therefore, Delgado and Riquelme face important issues regarding transfer policy and overall sports strategy. Their main goal is to make the team more competitive.

Marcelo Delgado also has extensive experience as a player. He played 18 matches for the Argentina national team from 1995 to 2002 and participated in the 1998 World Cup.

Additionally, in 2003 Delgado managed to become the top scorer of the Copa Libertadores. He shared this achievement with Brazilian Ricardo Oliveira.

This appointment is expected to mark a new era for Boca Juniors. The club management hopes to implement successful projects under the leadership of the new sports director.
