Shevchenko: No plans to replace Rebrov

The head of the Ukrainian Football Association and well-known former footballer Andriy Shevchenko shared his views on the future of the national team head coach, Serhiy Rebrov. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to euro-football.ru, Shevchenko emphasized that the issue of replacing Serhiy Rebrov is not currently on the agenda.
He stated that Rebrov can continue his work calmly and steadily. Through this statement, Shevchenko showed his confidence in the coach.
It is known that Serhiy Rebrov has been managing the Ukrainian national team since 2023. Under his leadership, the team successfully participated in the 2026 World Cup qualifying stage, finishing second in their group.
Now, the Ukrainian national team will take the field in the playoff stage. Their first opponent in this stage is expected to be the Swedish national team.
The results of the Ukrainian national team in the next stage, as well as the work under Serhiy Rebrov’s leadership, are being closely followed by the football community. Thus, Shevchenko’s support may be an important factor for the coach.
