Naumov: Saudi Championship is more convenient for Mourinho

Former president of the "Lokomotiv" club, Nikolay Naumov, shared his views on which championship might be more suitable for the renowned Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho's career. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The "Euro-Football.ru" website reported on this. According to Naumov, Mourinho's best period in his coaching career has passed.

In his opinion, Mourinho no longer stands out with his distinctive and unexpected styles as before; on the contrary, he appears to be an average coach. Therefore, a short break could be beneficial for him.

Naumov emphasized that the Saudi Arabian championship would be the most suitable direction for Mourinho. According to him, this country offers high salaries for coaches, as well as the opportunity to work with experienced and older players.

Additionally, the many sensational events in the football world in Saudi Arabia create interesting conditions for coaches. Currently, the "Benfica" team under Mourinho's management is preparing to face Madrid's "Real" club in the Champions League round of 16.

The first match of this pair will take place on February 17 in Portugal.
