According to Arriyadiyah, the chairman of the club's board of directors, Muhammad al-Skit, resigned from his position. Although he explained his decision with personal reasons, he did not disclose the details.

This information was confirmed by the euro-football.ru website. Earlier, there were reports that the powers of Portuguese individuals close to Ronaldo — Joze Semedo and Simao Coutinho — had been restored at the club.
