Ronaldo was rested: Al-Nasr coach commented

Jorge Jesus, head coach of the "Al-Nasr" football club, explained the reason why Cristiano Ronaldo will not play in the upcoming match. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by "Euro-football.ru". The Riyadh club is scheduled to play against the "Arkadag" team on February 14 as part of the AFC Champions League.

Although the Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to rejoin the team soon, he will not take the field in this match. According to coach Jorge Jesus, Ronaldo and several key players in the main squad were rested due to the team's tight schedule.

"There is an important match ahead against 'Al-Fateh' in the Saudi league. Therefore, we aimed to prepare several key players for this game," said Jesus.

The coach also noted that it is common for Ronaldo to miss some away matches due to this decision. The Saudi Arabian league match between "Al-Fateh" and "Al-Nasr" will take place on Saturday, February 14.

The team aims to achieve the best possible result in this game.
