Uzbekistan U-20 has started preparations for the World Championship

Today, an important meeting was held between the leadership of the Uzbekistan Football Association and the FIFA delegation dedicated to the U-20 World Cup scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in 2027. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this meeting, it was officially announced that preparations for the tournament have begun. At the beginning of the meeting, FIFA representatives congratulated Uzbekistan on securing the right to host this prestigious competition.
They particularly emphasized the development of football in the country, the strengthening of infrastructure, and the improving quality of play. Additionally, it was noted that cooperation between the Uzbekistan Football Association and FIFA is strengthening year by year.
During the discussions, organizational issues related to holding the tournament at a high level were reviewed. In particular, initial plans concerning tournament management, logistics, stadium readiness, guest reception, security, media activities, and volunteer participation were discussed.
To ensure effective organization, a coordination mechanism was established. It was emphasized that creating a general plan, defining clear responsibilities for each participant, and establishing an efficient cooperation system are necessary in this process.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue close cooperation to successfully hold the 2027 World Cup. This tournament is not only a football celebration for Uzbekistan but also an important opportunity to showcase its capabilities to the world.
The main task now is to fulfill this responsibility at a high level and to properly welcome the guests. Time will pass quickly, so the preparations that have started now will be the key to the tournament’s success.
