Safonov: An exemplary goalkeeper for young football players

Experienced Russian coach Valeriy Nepomnyashchiy has presented France's "PSG" club goalkeeper Matvey Safonov as a role model for young footballers. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to him, despite being away from match practice for a long time, Matvey continued to work on himself and eventually managed to convince everyone with his skill. These views were cited by the "RB Sport" publication.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has participated in four matches in the French championship this season, conceding three goals. At the same time, he managed to keep a clean sheet in two games.

In the Champions League, he has played in two matches, conceding only one goal. Matvey Safonov's contract with "PSG" is valid until mid-2029.
