Ronaldo will not participate in the Asian Champions League match
"Al-Nasr" football club head coach Jorge Jesus explained the reason why Cristiano Ronaldo will not take the field in the upcoming match. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by the euro-football.ru website. The Riyadh club will play against Turkmenistan's "Arkadag" team on Wednesday as part of the Asian Champions League.
Although the Portuguese star forward is expected to return to his team, he will not participate in this particular match. According to coach Jesus, due to the team's busy schedule with many matches in recent weeks, it was decided to give Ronaldo and some key players rest.
This decision is related to the important upcoming match against "Al-Fateh" in the Saudi Arabian league. Additionally, the coach emphasized that giving Cristiano Ronaldo rest is a usual practice.
His absence from some matches held outside Saudi Arabia has been observed before. The match between "Al-Fateh" and "Al-Nasr" in the Saudi Pro League will take place on Saturday, February 14.
