This decision is related to the important upcoming match against "Al-Fateh" in the Saudi Arabian league. Additionally, the coach emphasized that giving Cristiano Ronaldo rest is a usual practice.

His absence from some matches held outside Saudi Arabia has been observed before. The match between "Al-Fateh" and "Al-Nasr" in the Saudi Pro League will take place on Saturday, February 14.
