Samarkand's “Dinamo” football club announced that it has signed a one-year contract with 30-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Kingsley Sarfo. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The club's press service reported this. Kingsley Sarfo is known as one of the footballers who was accused and convicted of committing a sexual crime against a minor girl.
According to open sources, Sarfo was found guilty of committing a crime against a 14-year-old girl while playing for Sweden's “Malmo” football club in 2017. According to Swedish law, sexual intercourse with a person under 15 years old is considered child rape.
According to the court decision, he was sentenced to 2 years and 8 months imprisonment, deported from the country, and obliged to pay compensation of 150,000 Swedish kronor to the victim. After serving his sentence, Kingsley Sarfo played for Cyprus's APOEL club.
