According to "The Mirror," the match will take place on June 10. Earlier, it was announced that the England national team would also play a friendly against New Zealand on June 6.
Both matches will be held near the training base located in the state of Florida, USA, but the exact stadium is not yet confirmed. England and Costa Rica national teams have faced each other twice on the field so far.
The first encounter took place during the group stage of the 2014 World Cup and ended in a 0-0 draw. The second match was a friendly held in 2018, where England won 2-0 thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Danny Welbeck.
The England national team will play its first World Cup match against Croatia on June 17. Additionally, Ghana and Panama teams will also participate in this group.
