Ronaldo will not play in the OFC match

Sports08:57, 12-02-2026

"Al-Nasr" football club head coach Jorge Jesus explained the reasons why Cristiano Ronaldo will not take the field in the upcoming match. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. It is known that the Riyadh team will play against the "Arkadag" club on February 14 as part of the OFC Champions League.

However, the Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo, will not be in the lineup this time either. According to the coach, due to the very tight match schedule, it was decided to give rest to Ronaldo and several other key players.

"We have an important match against Al-Fateh ahead. Therefore, considering the condition of the players, we temporarily excluded them from the starting lineup," said Jesus.

These words were cited by the Al Nassr Zone publication. The specialist added that Ronaldo resting in some matches is not new.

He has also missed some matches held outside Saudi Arabia. It is reminded that the match between the Saudi championship teams "Al-Fateh" and "Al-Nasr" is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 14.
