According to Kanchelskis, if the German club "Borussia" from Dortmund had shown genuine interest in Golovin, the player should have moved to that club. He mentioned that in the current situation, it would be better to finish the season and then decide about his future.

Additionally, the former player added that Golovin could try himself in the Bundesliga. Golovin has played 256 official matches for "Monaco" in all competitions, scoring 36 goals and providing 42 assists.
