"Al-Nasr" team head coach Jorge Jesus explained the reason why Cristiano Ronaldo will not take the field in the upcoming match. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to euro-football.ru, the Riyadh club is scheduled to play against the "Arkadag" team on Wednesday as part of the AFC Champions League.

However, the Portuguese forward will again be left out of the squad. Previously, his return to the team was expected.

Coach Jorge Jesus stated that due to the team's dense match schedule, a decision was made to give rest to Ronaldo and several key players. He emphasized the need to avoid overfatiguing the players ahead of the important match against "Al-Fateh".

Additionally, Jesus added that this situation is not new, recalling that Ronaldo has previously missed matches held outside Saudi Arabia. The "Al-Fateh" vs. "Al-Nasr" game within the Saudi Professional League is scheduled for Saturday, February 14.
