Naumov: Saudi Championship suits Mourinho
Former president of the "Lokomotiv" club, Nikolay Naumov, shared his views on which championship would be suitable for the famous Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho to continue his career. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He spoke about this in an interview with the "Euro-Football.Ru" publication. This was reported by euro-football.ru.
According to Naumov, Mourinho's most successful period is behind him. He emphasized the need for the coach to take a break to adapt to the demands of modern football.
Naumov believes that while Mourinho was previously distinguished by his unexpected decisions and tactics, he now appears to be among ordinary coaches. Additionally, Naumov noted that the Saudi Arabian championship would be suitable for Mourinho.
According to him, this championship offers high salaries, significant attention to publicity, and the opportunity to work with older and well-known players. For these reasons, Saudi Arabia could be a favorable option for Mourinho.
It is worth noting that Mourinho's "Benfica" team will face Madrid's "Real" club in the Champions League Round of 16. The first match will take place on February 17 in Portugal.
