Kurtua: "The game against Benfica will not be easy"

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois shared his thoughts ahead of the Champions League match against Benfica. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to Euro-football.ru, these teams faced each other in the previous stage, where Real suffered a defeat.

The game ended with a 2:4 score, which deprived the Madrid side of a direct spot in the round of 16. Now, under the leadership of Alvaro Arbeloa, Real will face Benfica again in the next playoff round.

Thibaut Courtois said the following on this matter: "The game in Lisbon was very tough for us. Winning there is not easy.

That day we couldn't show our best performance, but we drew the necessary conclusions from that defeat. This time the situation will be different because we know well that the return match will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium."

The first match will take place on February 17 in Lisbon. The return leg will be held on February 25 in Madrid.
