Ronaldo will not play in the match against "Arkadag"
"Al-Nasr" head coach Jorge Jesus explained the reason why Cristiano Ronaldo will not take the field in the upcoming match. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by euro-football.ru. The Ar-Riyadh club "Al-Nasr" will face Turkmenistan's "Arkadag" team on Wednesday within the framework of the AFC Champions League.
The Portuguese star striker was expected to return to the field in the coming days. However, this time he was again not included in the match squad.
According to Jorge Jesus, due to the team's tight schedule, it was decided to give rest to Ronaldo and other key players. "There is an important match ahead against 'Al-Fateh'.
Therefore, we aimed to keep the players in good condition," said the coach. His comments were cited by Al Nassr Zone publication.
Additionally, the specialist emphasized that Ronaldo's rest is not a new situation. He has previously missed some matches held outside Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Pro League match between "Al-Fateh" and "Al-Nasr" is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 14.
