Safonov may become PSG's main goalkeeper

Former manager of the Russian national team Oreste Chinquin expressed his views on goalkeeper Matvey Safonov's future at the French club PSG. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by Euro-football.ru. According to Chinquin, Safonov could establish himself as PSG's main goalkeeper in the coming years.

Currently, he is trusted in the starting lineup, while goalkeeper Chevalier remains on the bench. According to the expert, even though Safonov conceded three goals in the recent match against Rennes (1:3), his chances of playing in the starting lineup remain high.

This season, the 26-year-old goalkeeper has appeared in a total of 8 matches across various competitions, conceding 8 goals and keeping a clean sheet in 3 games. PSG will play their next match against Monaco on February 17.

The first leg of the Champions League playoff stage will start at 23:00 Tashkent time.
