"Al-Nasr" team head coach Jorge Jesus explained the reasons why Cristiano Ronaldo will not take the field in the upcoming match. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. The Ar-Riyadh club will face the "Arkadag" team on Wednesday within the framework of the AFC Champions League.

The Portuguese star forward was expected to return to the squad soon, but he will not be included in the lineup for this match either. According to coach Jorge Jesus, due to a tight schedule, the team decided to rest Ronaldo and other key players.

He noted that there is an important game ahead against "Al-Fateh" in the Saudi league. Additionally, Jesus reminded that it is not new for Cristiano Ronaldo to miss some matches played outside Saudi Arabia, and this situation has been observed before.

His words were cited by the Al Nassr Zone publication. The match between "Al-Fateh" and "Al-Nasr" within the Saudi league is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 14.
