Pimenov: Matches against Mali and Guatemala will be beneficial
Former striker of the Russian national team Ruslan Pimenov shared his thoughts about the BetBoom friendly matches expected to take place in March 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Earlier, it was reported that the Russian national team might play matches against the teams of Mali and Guatemala. This was reported by euro-football.ru.

According to Pimenov, matches against foreign national teams are always beneficial. He emphasized that the ranking of the opposing teams or their position does not matter much.

The important thing is to take the opportunity to play more matches and gain experience. Currently, according to the FIFA ranking, Mali is ranked 54th, Guatemala 94th, and Russia 36th.

It is worth noting that the Russian national team has never played against these two teams before. Therefore, such matches can provide the team with new experience and opportunities for development.
