Abduqodir Husanov became the fastest player in the UEFA Champions League

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES Football Observatory) has announced the list of the fastest players in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) group stage matches. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In this list, Manchester City defender Abduqodir Husanov took first place with a speed of 35.8 km/h. With this result, he surpassed many well-known footballers.
According to the list, Kylian Mbappe took second place (35.67 km/h), and Lois Openda took third place (35.16 km/h). Additionally, stars such as Mikki van de Ven, Erling Haaland, and Eder Militao are also included in the ranking.
However, Husanov's result is higher than theirs, and he stands out particularly with his physical fitness and speed. The 21-year-old Abduqodir Husanov has played four matches in the UCL this season as part of Manchester City.
As a defender, he effectively uses his speed to perform tasks such as positioning, stopping counterattacks, and catching up with opposing players at a high level. These indicators demonstrate that he is a strong player not only physically but also tactically.
This result means two things for football fans: firstly, Husanov can compete at a high level in tournaments like the UCL. Secondly, despite his youth, he stands not only among star players but ahead of them.
Now, the upcoming playoff matches will show how he demonstrates his speed in practice. If Husanov continues at this pace, he may attract even more attention not only for his speed but also for his effectiveness in the game.
