Galatasaray defeated Juventus 5:2
In the first match of the Champions League play-off stage, Galatasaray achieved a significant victory over Juventus on their home ground. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Turkish club won 5:2, gaining a substantial advantage ahead of the return leg. In this game, the stadium atmosphere, game tempo, and pressure combined to put the opponent's defense in a difficult position.

As a result, Juventus could not withstand this wave of attacks. After the match, Galatasaray's head coach Okan Buruk analyzed his team's performance.

He emphasized that the team took the initiative already in the first half and mentioned that he congratulated his players during the break for their performance. According to the coach, the team was dominant on the field, but conceding two goals was considered unfortunate.

Nevertheless, the players did not get discouraged; on the contrary, they showed character and made an impressive comeback. According to Okan Buruk, the game developed rapidly in the second half, and after scoring the second goal, the team's confidence increased.

The third goal came naturally, and the match fully shifted in Galatasaray's favor. Additionally, even after one of the opposing team's players was sent off, Galatasaray maintained their advantage and continued to apply pressure until the end of the game.

Buruk stressed that he demanded from his players not to be satisfied with the score and to keep playing at a high pace until the very end. He highlighted this mental preparation as an important aspect of the team.

In an interview with Hurriyet, the coach specifically noted that this feeling of dissatisfaction and attacking mindset played a decisive role in the team's victory. Following this big win, Galatasaray is in a favorable position ahead of the return match.

The main question now is whether the same discipline and pace will be maintained in the return leg. If so, the Turkish club will further increase its chances of advancing to the next stage of the Champions League.
