The Russian national team is scheduled to hold a friendly match with the Mali national team in March of this year. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Although official information has not yet been announced, representatives of the Mali Football Federation have confirmed that the match will take place in Krasnodar, Russia. This was reported by *euro-football.ru*.
According to Sidi Bekaye, the secretary general of the Mali Football Federation, they plan to come to the match against Russia with their strongest squad. The lineup will include leading players such as Bissuma, Niakate, Sangare, and Nene.
They will arrive in Krasnodar on March 25–26 and conduct pre-match training sessions. Bekaye also emphasized that the agreement to organize the match with Russia was not complicated.
In their opinion, playing against a strong opponent will be an important experience for the team. It is worth noting that the Russian national team is currently unable to participate in international competitions due to sanctions imposed by UEFA and FIFA.
Therefore, for now, they only have the opportunity to hold friendly matches.
