Russia and Mali will hold a friendly match in Krasnodar

The Russian national team will hold a friendly match against the Mali national team in March. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Although the Russian Football Union has not officially confirmed this match yet, the Mali Football Federation has announced several times that the match will take place in Krasnodar. This was reported by euro-football.ru.
Sidi Bekaye, the secretary general of the Mali Football Federation, said that the team will come to the game against Russia with its strongest lineup. According to him, key players such as Bissuma, Niakate, Sangare, and Nene will be part of the team.
The players are expected to arrive in Krasnodar around March 25–26 and will hold training sessions before the match. Sidi Bekaye also emphasized that the agreement to organize the friendly match with Russia was reached easily.
He added that the Mali national team will be pleased to play against a strong opponent. It is known that the Russian national team can currently only participate in friendly matches due to sanctions imposed by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and FIFA.
Therefore, such matches are of great importance for Russian football.
