Russia and Mali will hold a friendly match in Krasnodar

The Russian national team is scheduled to hold a friendly match with the Mali national team in March. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The match is expected to take place in the city of Krasnodar, Russia. Although the Russian Football Union has not yet officially announced this, the Mali side has confirmed the venue several times.
This was reported by the euro-football.ru website. Mali Football Federation Secretary General Sidi Bekaye stated that the team will travel to Russia with a full squad.
According to him, the main players of the team, including Bissuma, Niakate, Sangare, and Nene, will also travel to Krasnodar. They are expected to arrive around March 25–26 and conduct pre-match training sessions.
Bekaye said that the process of reaching an agreement to organize the match with Russia was not difficult. He also emphasized that the Mali team is pleased to have the opportunity to play against a strong opponent.
For information, the Russian national team is currently unable to participate in international competitions due to sanctions imposed by the European Football Union and FIFA. Therefore, the team can only hold friendly matches.
